question for any and all Marines and/or Navy Corpsmen

I'm about to have a physical done for my application package for OCS. I know they will be taking blood to test for HIV and a UA for drugs. Is this different than a drug test administered at the battalion level? does anyone know if they will also test for steriod use?

No they will not costs way too much, we are extremely deep in our national debt and they are desperate for bodies to fill spots anyway. Thanks for serving go for it!

Yeah just like CO B-man said, they will not test for steroids. A buddy from my battalion was selected for the MECEP program not too long ago. He's since been through OCS and TBS without any problems. He definitely would have popped if they tested for steroids.

you have nothing to worry about, even the drugs they do test for have to have higher amounts before its considered positive; at least on the coast guard side of the armed forces.
