i was so drawn in by the discount i didnt even check the nutrition info. Usually i avoid fats like the plague immediately after a workout, but this protein has 2 grams of fat per serving. is 4g of fat total immediately postworkout gonna fuck up my plans to get ripped this spring? i don't know how to put to quantities of macronutrients in perspective. Thanks

not at all. fat isnt so much the enemy (trans/sat fats are unhealthy) when it comes to fat loss. it is total calorie consumption. to lose weight calories taken < calories expended. but when u r looking to cut alot of calories out of the diet one obvious place is fat as each gram is a dense 9 calories.

those such as myself that go low carb to diet my fat % of total calories can be as high as 40%!!!!!!

thanks, but i guess what i was really getting at was if it was too much fat for RIGHT AFTER a workout. I was under the impression that post-workout nutrition of simple carbs spikes insulin and causes any fat you consume soon afterwards to be stored as fat. This is why i always waited an hour after pw shake/carbs to consume any fats. But i can't really do this now if my whey has fat

in short no it is not too much fat to consume PWO. i wouldnt worry about it bro.

if u r taking something like WM or dextrose for PWO i would seperate that from my protein shake. the protein is enough to slow down the digestion of those, even whey.

i prefer WM. u should mix BCAA's (creatine as well if u r taking that) into your WM and take that immediately after working out then wait about 20 minutes and have your whey shake.

thanks man! they should mod you

It is of note, that studies show whole milk PWO > skim milk PWO (i'm not sure if this was per calorie or volume though, which would make a difference).
