Question about low test levels...

After a cycle is it possible that your test levels drop lower than normal for an extented period of time? .....situation is that i had blood work done a few wks ago and my test levels are extremely low for someone my age 25 and the last time i did a cycle was last dec which was only for a wk cause i tore a muscle that wk...

Yes, it is very possible. Welcome to the hypogonadal club.
btw, I am also a member.
get yourself a test on your LH also to see if your pituitary is lazy. Clomid therapy for extended periods of time may help, but you have a realistic chance that your T-levels will fall again after discontinuation.

Luteinizing hormone
a hormone, secreted by the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland, which stimulates ovulation, the development of the corpus luteum with its subsequent secretion of progesterone in females, the development of interstitial tissue, and the secretion of testosterone

Hey bro,
Just want to make sure I am reading this right, your last cycle was in December and was only one week do to an injury, correct?

December was a long time ago and you should have recovered by now. Also your cycle being that short, I can't imagine you could have surpressed your natural T for very long.

Maybe your natural T levels are low? Is your doc considering HRT?

i assume HRT is hormone replacement therapy right? i am gonna bring that up along with a few other things next time i go over there....they are really starting to piss me off

Kunta.. Do a search under my name for "just got my T levels back". sounds like we are in the same boat. It has all the onfo you will need.

is it possible that after your "last" cycle when you discontinue therapy that your T levels will drop off to low levels again?

that sux.. i need to get tested again because i think i might have dropped off.. i recovered rather quickly using nolvadex and some other OTC meds but recently i think my T levels have dropped again...

any suggestions for keeping T levels up or is HRT most likely in my future?
