A friend of mine has shit credit due to his ex wife writing thousands of $$ in bad checks and running up credit cards. His credit is so messed up he cannot even get an auto loan with a co signer. Anyway he makes good money and wants to buy my truck off me. I was going to just let him make the payments and keep the truck in my name and get another one. My question is even thought the loan is in my name can he get his own insurance for it? Do I have to type up some kind of lease agreement?
