I was disappointed. I expected the US Queers to go over and do the show.
Carson would have been hysterical in London.
Debaser said:I like the US version a lot. Kyan is misinformed about quite a bit of the grooming stuff, but hell, most guys wash their face with soap so he at least helps the average guy a lot.
Funny how terribly Carson dresses sometimes, but a lot of the advice he gives is solid. I'm pretty sure there's a different clothing label advertiser or two each episode, so it would be suck to be the guy stuck with Lacoste when other guys are getting Purple Label, Cavalli, or Etro lol...
Sometimes I wonder if the food/wine guru (Ted?) is a straight man in disguise. He'd be damn cool to hang out with IMO.
Most of the interior decorating stuff is by far my weakest link so the wealth of info the show often provides helps out.
Jai is nearly worthless. Occasionally he has his moments. The problem is that culture can't be immediately remedied in the way that the other categories can.
My 2 [straight] cents...

I also agree that Carson dresses strangely.....and if you're a man, straight or gay, IMO -- men don't wear pink....
I love Thom & the interior decorationg -- I'm hopeless too
I think Ted (cooking) would also be a cool guy. However he is gay as him & his partner of 11 years had a "civil" ceremony recently, so now he wears a "wedding" band on his left hand.....read that in a mag (so it has to be true!! LOL)
Debaser said:Kyan is definately wrong about skincare sometimes...I can't think of specifics off the top of my head but I remember reacting to things he's said.
Eh the pink thing is a fine line. Lately it's been taken out of control. I don't think I"d wear a solid pink shirt, but I definately would wear something
like this and I do own cufflinks and ties with pink in them. I would also wear a pale pink blazer. IMO, the key is to reinforce your masculinity by making a confident statement, and this is NOT done by slathering yourself in bright pink because you think "it's the new black" or some other BS.
