Quail eggs

New member
Some say that quail eggs are healthier than ordinarychicken eggs. Is that true? I can buy the quail eggs quite cheap, butit is quite a pain in the ass to clean them, because their case isharder than chicken eggs, and they are so tiny.

Quail eggs are rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, PP, iron, phosphor, potassium, calcium, and many more micro-elements. Also, they have the essential amino acids treonine, tirosine, glicin, lisocin and histidine. These eggs are very healthy indeed, but the major reason people believe that they are healthier than those of chicken, is because supposedly they do not have salmonella, which is not true - all bird eggs will have it. hence the need to follow the proper rules of higiene with them.

the best types of eggs are from chickens that get to be real chickens as nature intended

this means they get to peck around, eat seeds, worms, bugs, etc. aren't cooped up in cages where salmonella is spread etc

look for the HUMANE FRIENDLY sticker on eggs when you buy them OR buy from a small family farm where you witness the chickens living a happy and healthy life

I see Steve, but if we have quails bred in the same conditions, are their eggs better than those of chicken?
