For bench press and deadlift, weeks 1 to 6 were calculated using a projected raw 1-RM (i.e. no supportive bench shirt or deadlift suit). Weeks 7 to 9 were calculated using a projected 1-RM competition lift that included full gear, a supportive bench shirt or deadlift suit
