PWO shake? good or no

I drink one after every workout i usually put in 10g of gultamine and 4 scoops of Xtend BCAA's i workout at night usually finish around 10 but dont go to bed until 12 or 1 i usually have cottage cheese right before bed. Thanks
It is whey isolate 35g protein 60g of carbs and like 5g of sugar
I usually workout until 10pm drink that then have a cup of cottage cheese before bed around 12
 
post work out Try 10 grams of BCAA'S, 10 grams of glutamine, 10 grams of creatine mono and 60 grams of waxy maize starch this makes a awesome shake then like 20mins later have a regular protein shake with water,works best for me.
 
BCAA's good. Glutamine - kinda worthless. It's not absorbed well at all and besides, BCAA's are converted to glutamine. Save your money.

Why 60grams of carbs if you are just going to bed?
Carbs have nothing to do with recovery. Only energy.
Fats helped with muscle building and repair!
 
The simple carbs post workout help replenish the glycogen in the freshy epleted muscles and fight muscle teardown. Or atleast thats what i have always read. And im not going to bed right away i go a few hours later. Is this Correct>???

Yes - you are very correct. Eating carbs after you workout is very important to muscle recovery.

i think nutrient timing plays a good role

there are tons of foods that are exceedingly high in glycogen

just search google: glycemic index

heres my recipe

skim milk, 2 scoops EAS whey.casein.soy blend = 40gs, half banana, BIG spoon low fat peanut butter, half cup to full cup raw oats
