I am usually a paramedic and paramedic supervisor(part-time). Well, my part-time supervisor status has been suspended for a year. Our HR department said they had 2many reports of me being intimidating and causing a hostile work environment for some of the employees. The other supervisors and my friends(at work) all think it's really funny because I'm under 5'2 and 4 months pregnant. One of my friends is calling me "the 10foot tall bully monster".
I really don't mind not being a supervisor because it's a big pain in the ass and I only made about a dollar more per hour but I can't help but wonder why people were calling HR and making me sound like a bully. I have never lunged toward someone to make them flinch or attacked them with profanities. I don't get it.

Was it your man trying to get you fired? No joke, a buddy of mine got his wife fired without her knowing it was him because... well I wont say why, but he's happy because he is back in control of everything.

No, it wasn't my hubby. The HR dept said they had multiple complaints from 3 female co-workers. They didn't say who but it sounds like they are prolly buddies. They prolly sit around and talk about getting me canned.
My hubby couldn't have done it because we don't technically work the same place and HR said these people were co-workers.

You don't have to physical beat someone (or be able to) to be a bully.

I don't think anyone here can really past judgment either way on you though so only you and your co-workers and figure this one out.

BUT THAT'S the problem. I had no idea people felt this way. I can't ask my accusers because HR can't tell me who reported me as intimidating and hostile. Everyone at work acts like they all really like me. I don't want to be THAT girl.

Ok, ok. Maybe. I'm willing to face the truth if it's true. If it's SOOO true than why does everyone act like they like me? They aren't just nice when I'm around. People, lots of em come talk to me on their own. They call me. They joke around with me. They all SEEM to think I'm a good tyme. Plus, all of my friends seem to think Im really liked. Are they telling lies? Hell, maybe everyone hates me. I don't really have a problem with people thinking Im an ass at work. I have a problem with them all being so fake to my face.
