Katlin Young v. Gina Carrano was the best of the 3 fights that I saw. The Slice v. Thompson fight was lame. The refs and docs stopped the fights early in all 3. The card in general looks lame, so I am in no rush to watch any more of the fights.

WEC has their event tonight. The main event is Uriah Faber v. Jens Pulver. I don't know the undercard. If you guys like watching action fighters, Faber and Pulver both usually deliver. I think Faber will take it around the 3rd round by GnP TKO.

I definitely think that the Kimbo fight would have been called in the second round if it had been anyone else, but I don't think Thompson would have gotten back in it. He caught l 5 or 6 hard blows and his ear was about to fall the fuck off. Kimbo has a long way to come but he's strong as shit and he was doing decently on the ground for a street brawler IMO.

Smith got robbed. 5 minutes and he would have been good to go. I doubt we'll see that doctor around anymore.

The Gina Carano chick is banging........google some of the pics her body is on point.

Kimbo is way over-rated as a mma fighter. He's not even close to being a top level fighter.
I don't even consider him a 'street fighter'. In a street fight anything goes or could happen. At best he's a backyard/boatyard bareknuckle brawler(alliteration not intended), who only wins with modified rules or fighting sub-par opponents.
In this sport, it is only a matter of time until he will be exposed.

I was not impressed by Kimbo at all.that was the first time ive seen him.alot of hype not much to watch.

The dude does have a mean punch and I wouldn't mess with him but he isn't a MMA fighter. Not yet anyway.From the videos I saw on youtube, it didn't look like he ever fought anyone that had a chance. It was just a bunch of guys that looked out of shape. I'm not saying you have to be in shape to be a good fighter but I would like to see him fight someone that at least looks decent.

He really didn't impress me at all, but if they work his ass hard on grappling to where he's at least competent in it and work on his endurance, he might suprise us.

Thompson got knocked out by Fedor's brother in 11 seconds in a fight but man did he ever take the shots last night. Kimbo bit off mroe than he can chew. I thought Lesnar and Kimbo would be a perfect fight before last night since both are there for hype only, but now I know Lesnar would tear Kimbo apart. I think Kimbo is done he get really exposed last night


On a side note did anyone watch Faber and Jens Pulver? Faber beat him decidedly. A friend of mine is Jens agent so we were of course pulling for Jens but damn Faber is awesome

you can always work on ur endurance tho.....he would be better off doing boxing not mixed martial arts
