On saturday I did 3 sets of pushups, 40, 20, 20, mainly just to get a feel for what my body could handle - and I'm still relatively sore from that. However, I feel the soreness all over. It never occurred to me, but where would I put pushups in a training program? What day would I put that in for? Frankly, I feel like they work a lot of areas, particularly my chest. I definitely would like to include them in my workout. However, I'm not sure where to substitute them in, or what to take out.
