Pus in syringe when aspirating

I did my usual quad injection today and when I aspirate for blood, pus came out instead. The site does not seem to be infected because it looks normal and there's no pain. For this cycle, I have been doing quad only injection (left/right) and it's been almost 12 wks now. What I'm afraid of is that there could be pus growing all over my thigh without me knowing.

Anyone had this before? Advice please!

It sounds like it could be an infection, how often are you injecting?

I had an infection last week in my left quad but that was very obvious because it was all red and swollen. I could hardly walk. This time I don't feel a thing. It's my right quad and there's no swelling nor any pain.

Zyg is right here!! I had exactly the same thing happen as you can see from my post several months ago. I called my doctor and he prescribed antibiotics. The doctor concurred with the assumption that the puss was the most probable result of an infection. After a week of antibiotics the problem was gone. No puss was further drawn from the location or nearby locations. That incident was several months ago.
I hope you did not continue the injection into this location?? I would advise calling a doctor if you do not have access to antibiotics. If you do a cycle may be in order. If you are concerned with calling a doctor, give them a line about you have a sore throat, are spitting green stuff, and generally don't feel well. My HMO will prescribe antibiotics over the phone if they are told I have been spitting green crap for 10 days or more. They have a questionaire they use to determine if you are eligible over the phone. The key in the one they use at mine is the green material being present for more than 10 days. I do not know how your HMO or doctor works, but good luck!!!
