Pulled/Torn oblique muscle

Any ideas how long this injury takes to heal at leats enought ot get back to training? It's hard to even drive right now with the oblique stabilizers firing to keep me upright around turns. I'm finishing up a bulking test e cycle right now, I hate to stop for two long and lose progress. I tried just sucking it up yesterday at the gym but it just won't work, sharp pain then failure happens, probably aggravated even more. Any advice or experience would be appreciated. I'm icing for 20 mins 4 times a day for the next 48 hours. Any medication suggestions to get me up and about would help too.

I do know that you must take time off and let it heal. Otherwise it will fool you into thinking you are good to go, then BAM! You know the feeling. Were you on ephedrine when you injured it? I kept trying to get back into swinging a softball bat, and it felt OK in practice, but a violent swing had me face down in the dirt at home plate. Give it time.

Thanks for the info. No ehedrine for me, I can't deal with the jitters and crash.

How long depends upon your age and condition of course,

Go see an MD, you are going to be out a couple of weeks

If the MD says 4 months figure 2 months for sure

But you can exercise other body parts while recuperating

You should see physician mon cheri, make sure you do not have tear. Expecially if there is any bruising in the area. Ice the area and rest it, that is best medicine. Feel better

is it above the hip or below? If below along your linguinal ligament it could be a hernia. I have never heard of an oblique pull to be honest.

Quad

It's above the hip just below the rib plate. I say oblique only because that's where I feel the pain when the muscle fires. It could be abdomial not sure, just know today it's on fire and hoping tomorrow will be better.

I was gonna say the same thing. I did something similar years ago cracking my back when I was cold! Then carrying some 90's to the bench I held my breath and thought I popped a hernia. Off to the doc who said it was a muscle tear! I now have to be really carefull breathing if I lift heavy.

Go to a doc to be safe bro....

This sucks bro, maby back down your dosage to 250 for a bit if the doc says take some time off and cruise till your ready for PCT.

If you ever are
