I pulled my delt pretty bad, wrestling a 500lb cast iron tub out of its home in my bathroom. That was 2 days ago, i got a bruise on top by my collar bone, i don't know where that came from. Ive been putting heat pads on it, i sat in the hot tub last night, and did the sauana last nite too. anythign else.
 
not even swollen, it hurts like hell when i move my arm. Its more so to anterior delt. It's not super bad, but its just aggravaiting.
 
take more glutamine!!! (this is my solution to every sore muscle, haha)

uhm but seriously maybe a muscle relaxant would help a bunch?

take it easy too imo, sauna and tub is a great idea.
 
black and blue = a muscle pull and damage.

do not do any pressing movement for
shoulders,
do not go heavy on and chest exercises ( cut back by 20% the next 14 days), do not do shrugs or laterals

i would still do legs, back and arms with some drive as well as any cardio

so just ease back on anything that stresses the area somewhat directly
 
i dont thing its damaged. It looks like a skin bruise, ie i was under a car the other day working and i hit it alot under there, and wrestling a tub. I will take your advice and cut back on everything though.
 
cut back for a week then till you are sure its just a superficial bruise

in this particular case " an ounce of prevention is worth 5 pounds of pain" lol

I did cardio this afternoon, ran another 2 miles, im basically running every day now to get my times faster in the 2 miles. The bruise is almost gone, it appears to be superficial,i noticed signs of gyno last night while i was in the pool, under my nipples it was hard and tender, up to 50 mg of nova last night and its already clearing up.
 
Just wanted to update, it went away last night. I must have worked it to har don chest or just plain slept wrong, my arms have been falling asleep the last few nights. I did back yesterday, im losing a lil weight due to the intese cardio, but my strength is through the roof.
