I use to take care of my ex when she was sick, bring her breakfast in bed etc, but whenever I was sick she would just go hang out with her friends. She was so sweet.

LOL that sounds like my husband. He didn't start off that way though, he used to sweet. He's being sweet today. I hate confusing men, but I'm not going to think about it right now I have to get better, I have so much work to do. That means at least 8 hours of sleep each night for a week damnit. No drinking either!1

Yeah we can be confusing...I know I had my faults with my ex and can't blame my marriage failing completely on her.

And you should be getting eight hours of sleep a night anyhow. And life without booze is better. You will survive. And theres Nyquil.

Hope you feel better soon. I loathe being sick mostly because it steals time from your life.

What is really sad about all this is that you desire to talk to me, but you allow some kinda of BS obligation you feel towards dough boy here stop you. I am just flattered to know that you want to talk to me cause you have a desire to touch the fire, and we both know you want to touch it. Once while visiting my bf I had a cough so bad that it was waking me up in the middle of the night. I would literally wake up, like, choking on my cough. On his way home from work (it was late and he had limited options) he picked up some nyquil, cough drops and vicks and he made a big show of tucking me in, rubbing the vicks on my chest (no boob groping), and making sure I had everything in reach. Then he ran his fingers through my hair till I fell asleep. It was the first and only time a bf has actually taken care of me when I was sick. He's a good bor.

Okay I promised myself I was going sleep 8 hours tonight. What do I do to fall asleep, I've never had trouble sleeping before? Sleep just won't come to me

I have chewable melatonin for those nights...when I want a really good nights sleep I'll chew like ten of them lol. (approx. I just toss a handful in my mouth).

Background noise, TV, music also helps me but for a lot of people that makes falling asleep worse.

Thanks, I don't have any melatonin.... I've never had problems sleeping before. Nothing that early morning cardio wouldn't cure. I always fall asleep w/ the TV on, I have to have it on too.
 
I sleep better with background noise, a tv or fan on. Dead silence and I can hear the gears slowly grind in my head. :worried:

I took a trip with a bunch of friends over the summer, we stayed at a lakehouse that only had a TV on in the living room. The thought of sleeping w/o a TV...I knew I couldn't do it so I offered to sleep on the couch in the living room. After the trip a couple of the guys were complaining about me having to have the TV on and how it fucked up their sleep. lol! What a bunch of pussies

Lol...agreed. I can't sleep without it. Unless I have just pulled an all nighter' or something. Then I could sleep on the sidewalk and not care.

I need the TV on to nap but I hate falling asleep with it on at night. I'm not sure why there is such a huge difference.
