Protein

So people say dont consume more the 40g of protein per meal but if your doing a test cycle and test increases your protein synthesis does this mean you can take in and process more?

yes. To a certain extent. 40-50 grams per meal is ideal... but 6-8 meals a day... on cycle your body will utilize more of the protein.

The body can digest the aminos from protein for up to 16 hours after ingestion....so take in as much protein at a time as you want. I consume 2 meals a day of 100-150g protein each (I do intermittent fasting) and it works VERY well

Hmmm... Can someone please elaborate on this? I would MUCH RATHER eat 70-80 grams in 2-3 shakes, rather than having to pound 5-6 shakes a day. Are you guys sure about this? It may be life changing for me. lol.

Your protein should be coming from FOOD not protein shakes. Protein shakes won't be build muscle... Lean meats do. 2-3 shakes a day MAX

Basically If you consume 300 grams of protein a day, you could consume it all In one sitting and the body will adjust accordingly and utilize it all digesting it for a very long time.

That is incorrect. Protein is protein, but in certain cases one source is better than another. For example, meat and eggs are better than protein from grains. But the protein in GEAR is superior to any food source.

So basically I can consume as much and whenever I want as long as I get 250 g in a day im good? And is this only ok on cycle or anytime

Protein shakes don't build muscle haha ok I bet my arse you have some whey at home

I don't have whey, but I have big blast and n2bulk at home. I drink 2 shakes a day to reach my protein need for the day... Most of my protein comes from chicken and steak. If you want to get big you gotta eat.... Protein shakes just fill the gaps in your diet... They are a supplement. Protein shakes should never be your main source of protein.. I don't care what anyone says

Hey faggot he said they don't build muscle jog the fuck on !

we don't talk to each other like this.. RADAR already talked to you but I want the rest of the board to know this kind of thing won't be tolerated.

if you want to talk like that then go play around on C&C where its allowed. fitness forum rules are much more strict.

Its most important to consume a lot of protein immediately after working out. For example I just hit chest and tris, went home and immediately made a shake consisting of 10 egg whites, 2 scoops whey, strawberries, and spinach. Goes down easy at 95 grams protein

31/ 4 weeks on cypionate/ first cycle/5'11"/177
What do you meant by "the protein in GEAR is superior to any food source."
Guys, Im struggling. Either that, or Im being way impatient. I eat every two hours. At LEAST 3000 calories a day, but the weight isnt packing on. My strength has gone up, and I look a bit bigger, but the scale isnt necessarily reflecting it... Input?

make your own thread first to get more responses and not take over this one.

Stevemi what's your take on the protein intake

my protein for the day consist of

i will have 2 8oz whey mixed with water a day.
1 chicken/fish
and 1 grassfed beef square
2-6 cage free eggs a day

i will also make protein bars on occasion but those go fast so i run out fast. lol

my non animal diet are lots of berries, veggies, pasta, apples, banana, organic pancakes with honey, and watermelon/citrus during season, sweet potatoes, greek yogurt, and brown rice

i don't believe in doing the math and calculating how much protein i get per meal or for the day. i just eat every 2 hours and eat whole foods.. i don't eat anything processed. i think if you do that you will be good.

my diet when i cut will change a bit from this. i will be consuming more protein and the only carb sources i will have are brown rice and sweet potatoes before and after my workouts ONLY. i am cutting off all fruits, dairy, pasta, etc. i will pretty much be eating veggies/meat. which means 2X per week I will be baking my grassfed beef, chicken and fish.. and storing it in the fridge and re-heating throughout the week. same with the veggies which i will boil and store away. also as aide note i grow a lot of my fruit/veggies, and i catch my own fish.. i do not buy fish from the store.. fresh wild fish is 10X better than the hormone laden shit they sell at the supermarket and also i don't want to spend $20 a pound of fish shipped from central america or alaska that were caught 3 weeks ago by nets.
