I'd like to gain weight and muscle. 17 amd 128 lbs. What brand of protein should i take. I've been taking GNC: Mass XXX for about 2 months. Whats the say on that. And I've been looking at other ones such as MRI Pro-NOS. what's the say on that.
 
Also, it says to take the Mass XX 1-2 times daily. i've been taking a serving after a workout. Is that fine?
 
You don't need to buy any supplements right now bro. You just need to eat alot of food and calories.


GNC massXXX is garbage. It's loaded full of sugar and other crap.


Just eat 3000 calories a day and you will gain weight.
 
steak and potatoes. when you cant get to cooked food eat beef jerky and oat meal bars. pack a sandwich to eat in addition to a ceffeteria lunch.
 
Before you waste money on supplements...You need something to supplement.

Protein powder is good to have around, but if you want to gain weight you need real food. Keep it simple too. Eggs, meat, milk, bread, rice, potatoes, veggies, ice cream, and the Dollar Menu.

Get in a habit of keeping up with what you eat. Learn the calories and macro-nutrient breakdown of your favorite foods. Every day you should try to consume 2x your body weight (230 grams) in protein and carbohydrates and 1x your body weight (130 grams) in fat. As you gain weight bump up those numbers accordingly.

Once you do the above then you deserve to use supplements. Don't waste your time paying the "Weider Tax" just to figure out years later that some random person on the Internet gave you the correct advice on gaining weight :biggrin:
 
Food ( meat and potatoes os one said)

but I also Believe Creatine ( get a pure one and use no more then 10 grams a day) and a basic WHEY is a great idea even if at a young age

it will simply assure high ATP stores and amino acids present for recovery is all

its the other thing that are NOT needed like Phs and stims at a young age that can hurt or hinder
