So basically I havent been taking ANY protein and I been going to the gym for around 7 months now. I hate those shakes. Is there any GOOD shit I can take in pill form? And also whats the best time to take it?
 
No protein? You don't eat meat, eggs or dairy?


There is also protein in bread/grains/pasta, veggies, tiny amounts in fruit.

I think it would be impossible for you not to eat any protein to be honest.

Start reading the packages or using calorie king or fitday and check what is in your food, you may be surprised.

Skimmed milk post-work out then.

What is it about whey protein you don't like?

Some do taste dreadful, and I mean dreadful. Some taste great.
 
You need about 30-60g protein PWO. There are no 30-60g pills!

You can always eat food PWO (tuna sandwich; as tat suggest skim milk, although it would need to be about a litre), but seriously many brands of protein powder taste good.

My advice is to scab some of friends and see which one you like best. Normally the chocolate flavours are most reliable. Just read some taste reviews
 
Well I meant I dont eat protein in pill or shake forms. And the chocolate flavor? Any good pill type of protein I can take? I eat a lot of meat. I love steak and chicken. I usually have a cup of vegetable soup and throw in some chicken when I'm at work. Yesterday I had some mac n cheese with chicken and turkey bacon mixed in.
 
you don't have to take pills or shakes for protein...they are just a supplement for a meal.

If you don't have any trouble eating the appropriate amount of protien from clean foods then don't even worry about shakes/pills.

Just my opinion
 
If we are talking about straight protein my favorite is Natures best Isopure.
