Protein Question

How much Protein powder do you do while bulking in one glass.

Is 80 grams too much ? How much can you absorb in shot?

I heard that 50 grams is the limit at one time, does this change when your on test
 
you well shit out a lot if you take 80grams of pro...i think the max for 2 hours that your body can take down is 40-45grams..i could be wrong...

Well i'm eating 400mg protein per day and i eat 5 meals. I just eated meal with 110g protein. Hmm mayby i'm doing somethin wrong in my diet :xeye:

I heard the same 40-45 depending on you...every 2 hours. Don't know if they account for sauceing during consumptin.:o
 
Yea 40-45mg every 2 hours is about right.
Keep in mind the protein absorbtion from shakes is very low, much lower than from meats or fish.

Actually, whey protein isolate is the most absorbable protein there is. Most WPI has close to 98% bioavailibility.

at least 30 - 40 gms every 3-4 hours and depending on your bodyweight. a 300 pd guy will require alot more than a 160pder.
 
The amount of protein intake is based on your body weight, goals and workout. If you workout stedily and you're wanting to bulk up, you should take a minimum of 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.
