Protein Factory Service?

I think that claim about casein is nonsense started by a company that just sells whey.
Casien has the advantage of digesting slowly, making it more of an "anti-catbolic" protein.

Micellar casin has a higher % of protein and almost no lactose but lactose has it's advanatges too. (Just makes you fart)

I prefer ion exchange whey because it has the highest BCAA count and taste the best. Egg is an underrated protein that makes shakes "creamier." And the yolk helps the amino acid ratio, improves "mouth feel", and adds fat emulsifying lecithin and "good " cholesterol. Whole eggs may be the most anabolic food found in nature.

By using a mix, you cover all the bases. Whey by itself is inferior IMO.

I agree with genarr about their website. They have that fixed size inline frame which fucking sucks when you're on a higher resolution than 800x600.

I also agree with nelson about the addition of egg to a mix. I'm using a mix recommended from his book and I definitely enjoy the egg mixed in there. I actually like the taste added to my shakes. It doesn't mix in quite as well as whey, but if you use a shaker and shake the hell out of it you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, the egg protein is best used with a blender. Actually, the original Blair protein was like clumpy chalk. He felt that "instantizing" it denatured the protein molecules. (Can't say if that true with any certainty. It's out of my line of expertise.) The stuff sold as the Blair formula today is instantized.

Protein Factoy is re-doing their website. Right now it isn't as clear as it should be. They said it should be ready next month.

I just complained about them on another thread. But...

The Web site is useless.

Delivery is SLOW.

Call them! They are extremely responsive to customers needs and concerns and will help you through their needlessly operose web site. Better yet, they will take the time to listen to what you are trying to accomplish and will make recommendations based on those goals/plans rather that just what they have in stock/over stock (ie: they dont try to "push" you in any given direction).

I ordered from them twice. No problems, had my order in 2 days. I'm local though. Called them once, great service.

I ahven't had a problem with them in almost five years. However, i don't order blends just straight milk isolate for regular use and whey for post workout.

Is whole organic egg that much better then Egg White Protein? Whole organic egg is like 5 more bucks a pound.

I wondered about this too, because yolk is pretty cheap too. So is it any different to figure out the white to yolk ratio in eggs and just customize your white/yolk blend to equal the whole organic egg for a lower cost?

Organic Egg is $11.25/pound and Egg White is $5.99/pound and Yolk Powder is $3.00/pound so it would be cheaper to get a white/yolk blend.

Nothing bu praise for the protien factory from me ... I've ordered over the last year or so and it always take about 10 days to get to Seattle from the east coast. great product and as much customization as you want.
