Protein Bars... What is the best....

The best tasting bar I've ever had without a doubt is Muscletech Meso-Tech cookies & cream, but it's only 27 g protein and 40 or so grams of carbs, not too good when dieting.

A lower carb one that I can tolerate is Pure Protein bars, Blueberry and Strawberry cheesacake aren't bad, S'Mores aren't bad either, one word of advice on Pure Protein bars though, make SURE they are fresh, squeeze the package to make sure the bar is as soft as possible, when Pure Protein bars go stale, they taste like shit.

SportPharma's promax bars are good, if you want to avoid that chemical taste and mouthfeel from the glycerin-containing "low carb" bars.

Hey,
I heard Protein Bars where bull, and did nothing for you.
Is this true?

Protein bars are "bull," they're loaded with fat, preservatives, and carbs. They certainly don't help when you're trying to get lean. But hey, they're a last resort when it comes to nutrition, especially during times when access to better sources of food aren't available... eating a bar is better than not eating at all.
In my opinion, this scale shows the most optimal food sources:
1) whole food
2) MRP
3) RTD
4) bar

Best ones I've ever had were the ISS research pro42 chocolate chip peanut butter. Has the same pitfalls as other bars though with hidden cals and fat etc. Tastes good and it seems like a good protein blend.

Nitro-Tech Strawberry Cheesecake was very tasty.
35g P and 6g C but theres glycerine....
FWIW, I recommend avoiding bars.
