i think that was the point of the show. most of those guys are such loud mouthes, everyone wants to see them get tagged. and the fact that it solidifies what it actually means to be a "Pro" in anything. did you see that guy getting nailed with a soccer ball?

I'm not a loud mouth. The total opposite, I'm a very humble student of the arts.
But getting to grapple with Randy C. or spar with Roy J. would be such an honor, I would do it even if I needed ice packs for a week.

I don't think the joes are fake......but I do think that the pro's are told just how tough to be based on the points. Like Eric Dickerson running wide for two joes.....and then inexplicably right at the one who happened to have the lowest score. But I doubt the joes are actors.....

oh I agree with you on reality tv shows........I just thing pvsj's is "real" in the sense that the guys really are trying........but as I said, the pro's are taking some ques too. So it's not "completely" real......but it ain't fake either. It's like the old american gladiators. Do they carefully screen the joes?? you bet they do.....

Sure, just as both said pros and joes follow a script to the letter. Both are paid nicely, too. There are, unfortunetly, no surprise outcomes, though. It's all scripted in order to get the most ratings and stay on the air.
