Proper form for hang cleans?

Want to start using this exercise for traps. What's the proper way to do 'em?

Let meknow if this works. There's a place at the bottom where you can view the video. From personal experience I can tell you that you my need to manually move the progress bar on Media Player through the motion to see it slowly enough to catch all the details.

I think hang snatches without the dip are much easy to learn, and hey you take the weight above your shoulders, that means lots of trap simulation! You build traps, shoulders, cuffs and calves and lots of otehr muscles all at once.

My traps are sure starting peak up

this months NSCA journal has detailed instructions on teaching it, doing it, and progressions for learning it. the pull, the catch everthing.

If you wish to perform them from the hang, simply start with the bar in the desired location.

Note: If you are going to perform them power style, catch the bar while descending into no more than a quarter squat.
