Fuck yeah,I knew this was my knack.

im on a job right now with 8 guys,and ive just been promoted to supervisor and second in command. and after the 23 I am running the show up here,which is going to be fantastic. it will only be for about a week until the job is over,but I hope I can prove that im a good supervisor and get to do this at more jobs.

Im pretty stoked about it all,I know its not a permanent promotion as supervisors with our company can just be investigators or guards if there is someone ahead of them,but the fact that I get to do it and run the entire job when I havent even been with the company for 2 months is a great feeling.

it has its ups and downs,and every job is different,this one is cake,right now im doing 12 hr shifts 6am-6pm and am 20 min drive from home so I can go there and sleep in my own bed if I want,which I do about once a week ,I can visit friends etc,next week I move to 15hr work days though so it will be tougher.

the job I did in montreal was hell as it was like 13-14 hr shifts with 1 hr travel each way then you gotta do shit when your back and your exhausted,it sucked but I love what I do

depends if im an investigator or a guard.ill describe both

currently im an investigator and i arrive on site at 6 am,leave the hotel at 530 and im doing surveilance on a plant that is closing,today was the last day the employees were working,now they are working on getting the machinary out and i just do survielance on the workers,ensure they arent doing anything illegal or sabotaging anything,I gather evidence and report back to the companies lawyer daily , we also have guys doing security on this job so if something happens they act and I film.

we do other ypes of investigations aswell but this is whats happening now

in montreal I was a guard,we are working a strike there,we left for the site at 510,arrived around 6, we have occupied the facility and they have replacement workers in now so we ensure they get in safely,aswell as management and workers who are from another union who are still working,we patrol the property to prevent sabotage,bring trucks in so theycan ship product,and escort trucks and management so the union members dont harass them while they are doing their daily routines or at home.

sounds interesting, the variety definitely helps keep it from getting boring or mundane.

ya variety is nice,but I just got lucky to be sent to different places,some guys have been on that strike since september with 3 days off the entire time,id go nuts if I had to do that
