I used to wrestle for NWA. You do a lot of cardio. You can't imagine how easy it is to blow up 5 minutes in a match. Also, you are a professional athlete. You have to train and eat right to look good. If you want to keep your job you have to want people to come see you. You have to try to be the total package.

I would just have to imagine that the diets of most wrestlers in the big time are better than in the 80's when they lived off of beer, drugs, McDonalds, etc...

Times have changed... Now it is no longer the way of the past. Most wrestlers in WWE get 3-4 days off per week. The hotels where they stay have gyms equipped with the tools they need to stay in shape or a simple guest pass at a local gym could always work.

The standards have changed. If you are a new face in the wrestling world, you bet your ass that you have to be in good shape to get to the big time or to even have people notice you. Anyone who is out of shape in the big time is somebody with a lot of experience and years of wrestling behind them.

As a pro-wrestler myself, and unlike JC Grifter, I do eat cleanly. You also have to be smart about when you eat certain things. I mean, chicken nuggets before you hit the ring doesn't do a whole hell of a lot to help you. I am making my comback soon and other workers will see what I mean.

As for the diet... it all depends on who wants their job.

:destroy:

Yeah Benoit is really ripped, I don't think Triple H is all that. He was in MuscleMag or some other magazine, and yeah, it looks like he drinks beer often. Anywayz, Mohawk and JC, you too sound like some crazy hardcore guys I would never mess with. By the way Mohawk, is that you in your avatar?

How can you not like HHH? Before his quad injury he was in great shape, and than when he came back he looked like he put on about 20 lbs. of lean mass. I have seen him in person and trust me tv does this man no justice. They had a Raw here in Vegas back in february and I had floor seats. HHH was the first one out and he has veins like no other that don't even show up on tv. It looks to me that he is not in his best shape compared to say 5 months ago, but none the less for a wrestler he is truly phenomonal. Also Brock Lesnar is even bigger in person than on tv. Vinnie Mac has everyone on the growth and test cycle that Hogan has made so famous apparently with the exception of poor lil Spike.

Did any of you hear about good ole Stone Cold? He actually beat his wife Debra like 2 weeks ago which was 1 week after he walked out on the WWE. She called the cops but he fled before they got there and she didn't press charges so no arrest was necessary. Anyways I think that Steve was on the gear again as he was in the best shape since joining the WWE and perhaps that along with his excessive drinking habits caused the debatable "roid rage" on his wife. j/k about the drinking, don't know if that's true.

Yeah that story is old, but its strange thing to happen to everybodys star!
