I'm finishing up my old school training this week, and I'm going out with a bang ...
Flat bench.
5x5 with 260.
Deads.
5x3 with 345. Good God, my hands hurt.
Chins, palms out.
14, 5, 4, 3. Bodyweight. Deads really take it out of me. I was kinda disappointed with these numbers. Oh well.
Calves, seated.
Did between 65 and 75 reps with a 45 and 35 on. (I lost count. lol.
)
Deads have really begun to fatigue me. It took me quite a while to complete my 5 sets. I think my body is telling me to rest up a bit. I'm probably going to rest up next week, and begin on Cornholio's/The Shadow's follow up routine to the old school program, and see how that works. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check spatts' sticky.
Friday, I go out in a blaze of glory with some heavy squats.
