Pre Season Cycle Advice

Hey everybody, I'm new here although I have been reading threads for a long time and post on a few other body building forums. I've been looking into doing a cycle for a while now. 22, been training since 15... senior in college, final year of college lacrosse, last chance for the championship. 5'8 170 <10% bf. I'd like to run a cycle that will set me up to be in the best shape of my life (I will be anyway... but I mean above and beyond) by the time our first games come around in february. we practice 6 days a week starting in january and there is lots of conditioning throughout that month. Since I'm not a body builder I dont really want to pack on 20 lbs of mass, that would slow me down too much. Need to keep my 40 under 4.6. need to mitigate the effects of hpta shutdown since I will be coming off at the height of preseason practices. If you think that is bad timing that will interfere with recovery or make it hard to keep gains, post up. I have to reduce intensity of workouts during season, so if that defeats the purpose of running a pre season cycle then say so because I don't want to pop my roid cherry for no reason. I had initially looked at running a couple 2 on 4 off cycles of test prop/dbol/mast with clomid only pct in hopes that I could rebound quickly, but nobody has seemed to think that is a good idea. would a 6 week run of test prop/mast.. 100 mg prop and 50-75mg mast eod be helpful for my purposes? Do you guys think the crash will fuck me up in practices and make me lose whatever I gained? My main concern here is the maintenance of gains on a cycle like this. Will they be permanent or fade over time without additional use of steroids? I'm open to any suggestions here, so let me know what you think.

Well in any case you can get a crash in or after PCT which can hinder your gains and/or performance. Since you need to be in tip top shape by the time you're planning to come off I wouldn't risk it and safe it for another time.

If you want lean gains take the time for a cycle an do something like:

01-14: Test E 500mg EW
01-12: EQ 400mg EW

The EQ will increase RBC which will give more cardiovascular endurance.
Stay away from compounds like Tren etc since they will eat up your endurance and leave you with an empty gastank.

You could also try to cycle through preseason and come off after, I don't know how long lacrosse seasons take so I can't judge.

its too late imo...

you dont want to kill off your natural test production now and risk issues w/ recovery.

I would just start doing unleashed and some great protein like gear/big blast.. thats it..

get on a great training program. you need high intensity intervals and a good strength program.

oh eq is terrible for athletes if you risk being tested by the ncca or any other org that test for roids

i got your PM.

first off you aren't gonna magically put on 20 pounds of muscle if you juice, gosh i wish it was that easy. you still have to work your ass off in the weightroom.
but what juice will do is hurt your endurance and if you cycle off in pre-season then your natural T production will be low going into the season, not the best idea.

judo is spot on, you need supplements to help with recovery and also i would recommend eating a whole raw sweet potato as a pre game snack..

what i would do if i played a sport where i needed an extra edge would be take orals during the season and make sure i took some breaks in there. but keep in mind your endurance would get hurt. in lacrosse i would imagine you could just sub yourself out when tired kinda like soccer, but it won't look good for your coaches. i would just stick with supplements which will give you all the good, with no suppression.

unleashed will boost free T levels and strength before a game, a little bit of creatine, sweet potato as a pregame snack, and some amino acids. and you will be g2g.

OP have you ever tried NTKS

sick pregame supp.

thanks for the posts guys. I am on a good workout program and diet, we have strength coaches and nutritionists helping us in all those aspects. I have been making decent gains all semester but like steve said I am looking for that "edge" especially because we brought in a bunch of all american freshman who I have to compete with. Steve what kind of Orals are you talking about and what duration? as far as the unleashed/gear/supps go, I am just skeptical about whether they are even worth it, because I will be spending about as much on all that stuff as I was going to spend on that mild cycle and it wont have anywhere near the same effectiveness.

Bro if you will be unable to keep up intensive weight training due to your lacrosse practices and the conditioning training that goes along with that then you are wasting your time. All your gains will go away. Not because you stop juicing but because your training will change in season. Steve and tom have given you some great advice. Steve was an endurance athlete and knows his stuff. Listen to him bro. Save the cycle for when you can do weight training and will not be doing so much Cardio.

unleashed and gear will be more effective for YOU right now vs a mild cycle.
