Phase 3

Day 1

Scale says:

158.5 lbs
21% body fat (I believe this to be off 5-8% depending on hydration levels. It is always highest in the morning and lowest at night. Usually 1-3% less in the evening.)
 
NO way your 21% no way

ignore it
and just make the scale budge each time .7-1 pound is a very real Goal twice a week
 
Phase 3 workout 1

Had to do the first two exercises out of order and substitute in something different cause the machines were taken. Had abit of trouble completing all reps on one of the new exercises and had to rest to catch my breath more than 45 seconds but I believe I found which weights to use.

I just ate lunch so I've had 2 meals and a shake. ONe more meal to go, doing OK on hunger so far...

I know the scale is off, it is the trend I follow. As the scale number gets lower (% bf), I look better in the mirror so I use it for guidance. I've had it reading and average of 17 before which I believe is 9-12 %.
 
Phase 3 Workout 2

Really enjoyed the new program. Tried to incorporate overhead pressing for the first time in over half a year. Still does not feel perfect, but if I concentrate on the ROM that does not hurt I believe I will be ok. My shoulder will let me know tomorrw.

I really liked the end of the workout. I felt really energetic.

On the diet note, I have followed it up through lunch, but have guests in town so I may stray a bit if we go out to eat. I wish I didn't have to, but people think my dieting is annoying and rude.

Phase 3 workout 3

Had a terrible workout today. Finished most of the key exercises but ran out of gas before finishing the second half. I didn't have time to do anything yesterday because of the house guests and the diet ratios are out of wack and too many cals. They leave tomorrow so I will get back on track busting my ass.

The only side-effect of the clomid seems to be thirst ion the middle of the night. I can't say I feel depressed or weak because that's how I've been feeling all along. I'm hoping since I'm not trying to recover from a cycle that it will only help me but I've got 1.5-2 months before my next blood test. At that time if I don't feel like my old self I will ask for a front-loaded test script to get me feeling better quicker. If my levels are too high, THEN we lower the dosage rather than starting slow and feeling lousy.
 
Phase 3 Workout 4

Had a good workout today. FOund all the right weights to use for the new exercises. I enjoyed the end the most. It gave me wicked pumps. Was probably the combination of the new technique and new exercises.

My legs are sore from yesterday's half-workout. Surprising!

I've followed the diet up through lunch today and already have my dinner planned out.

Scale = 161lbs/21% bf

just pay attention to scale and mirror form now on!

Calipers just said 11.5% which is close to the electronic bf meters at the gym. The problem is my upper and lower readings are good. MY midsection throws it all out of balance.
 
Phase 3

I did some cardio today and followed all the instructions given. I am on the 2nd consecutive day of the diet and have all my meals planned out for the day.

I followed the plan yesterday but got a little hungry in the afternoon so I ate some mixed nuts and some dried fruit. Not much though, just enough to hold me until dinner. I went over on cals by 10-15%. Still getting used to the empty feeling in the stomach.

Scale said 158 this morning. Had a good workout.

Omega if you have any issues with me tracking weights let me know. I need to continue the log but can leave out the details.

Cardio-NONE

Had to cut the workout short cause I noticed a screw in my truck tire. Spent 15 min changing that instead of running or biking. Oh well, at least it burned some calories.

Diet is going good. When I transition from day to nightshift I need to eat more cals than prescribed because I am awake longer. I try to break it down into x # cals/hour. When I do it this way I know I am not overeating. Besides being awake and moving around burns more cals than sleeping so I believe it is warranted. Just for one day then I fully transition into a night owl and snack all night long.
 
Phase 3 Diet day 5

Did some cardio today. Running still seems bad for the knees. Still following the diet. Have all meals planned out again for tonight.

Scales says 157/19 % bf today when I woke up.

I know the bf reading is high, but it is trending in the right direction. I think I am 11-14 right now.
