First PR I've posted on the board...

I have to say, somewhat inspired by lots of you bros putting up PR's lately, wasn't supposed to hit it until next week, but hearing all the PRs falling (SuperShredder, others), I got a little excited and figured, why put off till next week what can be done today...

Warmups
135x10, 135x5, 225x3, 225x3, 275x2, 315x1, 365x1, 405x1

The 405 flew uplike nothing. Was only supposed to hit 425 x2 today (hit a solid 420x2 last week), but felt good, the groove was working great, so went for 450x1 a week ahead of schedule.

Took it down, nice and easy in the groove, pause, BLASTED it out of the bottom, it FLEW up, but about 1-2 inches from lockout, it paused... I started to panic for a second (did I forget to breathe?) Then I found some clarity and thought- I got it up that far to fail? NO! Focused, BAM, locked it out. PR, 450x1. First time I've hit 450 or more since about '99.

(By the way, my spot told me it only paused for about a half second, but to me it seemed like forever....)

Hmmmm... maybe with some lockout work I could hit 460 or more....... :D

Raw... Thanks for the props bros.. I can post up the last couple of weeks routine, but it will have to wait till tommorrow....
 
Yup, quite a bit traditional, some WSB influences thrown in... Thinking of going more towards strict WSB though... I'll give details tommorrow...

I think if I ponied up and got some chains I would be hitting 460 today instead!

Thats fucking incredible!!! Your approaching a quarter of a ton on bench! Thats something to celebrate!!! Thats a freaky amount of weight to move!! Most cant squat or deadlift that! Must feel awesome! Congrats!

awesome brotha...was this shirted or RAW? its awesome either way....are u seein this beast? another lifter blows past 400!!! tb
