powerlifting competition prep

Are you training right up to the comp? I would highly suggest taking the week prior to the comp. off and just rest and heal up.
 
i have 2 workouts left, then 6 days rest... just wondering if i should use suit from now all out or go raw my next workout and then only the last one in suit...
also straps up or down...
or at this point is it all pretty much set as good as my training has been prior.... im just nervous as this is my first full meet, i want to do my best possible
 
If you are not use to a suit or bench shirt you should probably do alittle in it. I made that mistake my first meet and didnt gain anything from a bench shirt becuase I had never had one on. Luckily I did train in my squat suit the last 3 weeks out so I was fine there.
 
im screwed at bench, as i will be going raw and i suck at it... im realy going for big squats and deads... and the suit only realy helps my squat
i have broken it in over the last 2 months using it every 3 workouts the first month and for the last month every other workout... it still pinches a bit but i can get into my groove
