Power Rack? Or Angled Squat Rack?- Which One Should I Get???

Guys, I'm trying to decide which one to buy without breaking the bank. I know you get what you pay for, but there's some good equipment out there for $250-350. I had my eye on this Power Rack made by Newyorkbarbells- http://www.newyorkbarbells.com./92563.html I also had my eye on this Angled Squat Rack made by Powertec- http://www.powertec-fitness-equipment.com/powertec-strencth-peg-squat-rack.html My main goal is to train legs at home with Squats, Front Squats, SL Deadlifts, etc... I'm an above average sized guy(6'4" 270-275lbs), so I need alot of room. Especially, on something like Squats. So, which one should I go with? Honestly, let me know what you think???

Power Rack.

You can squat in a squat rack. You can do everything in a power Rack...and it's safer.

The NYBB power rack will not leave you disappointed. We have two of them. :)

We have the basic $199 with free shipping model, and it accomodates people from 5'1" to 6'3" and 90 pounds to 308+ pounds on a regular basis.

We built a sumo platform to go in ours for those in the crew that squat and dead wide.

Right now, I'm leaning towards the $ 259 Power Rack. I like to superset Chins & DB Pullovers on a day separate from regular Back day. Does anyone know how wide the rack is exactly?

My buddy just received this one. He had them extend the post 9" so he can do overhead work in it. He's 6'1". The added cost of $40 is worth it.

I searched the page and didn't see a Power Rack that costed $199. The lowest one I seen is $259, unless they changed the price, recently.

yea i think it took like 30min tops to put together but just dont try it by yourself. i think i was a lil too excited at 2am;)

It comes in a long skinny box, and you attach a few bolts. No biggie. I've unwrapped Fisher Price toys that were harder to assemble.

I wouldn't know. I never use one...I don't really train my quads in an isolated fashion. I'm sure someone around here knows.

heh....I managed to assemble ours by myself. My shoulders were fried afterwards, but I did it.

Fun stuff...I'd rather spend my time assembling gym equipment than be at work right now.

go to free weights and than racks , not sure what the prioce is put we have 3 of theses fuckers and have done lockouts over 800 lbs squat l/o's over 1,000lbs and just beat the dog shit out of them and they hold up very well

If you get the power rack for your home then you can do curls in it all day and no one will give you shit.

Project, it comes to $235 with shipping because the demos don't have free shipping. I'd come out better if I get a brand new Rack for $259.

Ah well...didn't see that the free shipping deal didn't apply.
