:) What do you guys rekon of this:

2 slices of white bread,
Spread with honey & peanutbutter(light version),
Topped with 185g of tuna & 4 egg whites?

I have this about 20 mins after i have had my post workout shake

Thanks in advance for your thoughts :)

what are your goals?
not the best kind of food..
white bread is no good, honey is just sugar, peanut butter is good but could place it in a diff meal...tuna is fine..why not throw some quality carbs in with the tuna?

Yeah, if you're going to eat slices of bread I'd throw in some whole grain bread so at least you're getting additional nutrients and you'll also get some additional calories if you're looking at gaining some weight. I guess the way I look at it is that if I'm going to eat something that it should have some sort of nutritional value (at least when I'm on a strict diet). When I played football I'd eat everything just to pack on lbs... I miss those days!

My goal is to get a little more bigger, but i wanna get more ripped also.
I read that a high insulin hit with high gi foods straight after a workout boosts your insulin levels so you get bigger quicker.
I guess i was going about it the wrong way.
Thanks for the advice so far guys :)

Any advice on what i should be eating?
is a small bowl of rice or pasta okay around 20 minutes after my protein shake.? (im currently on VP2 - considering moving to hydroxy Hardcore or Musclemilk - which one do you recommend or do you have any better ones in mind?)

:)

yea after the shake rice would be good. Heres what i like to do

2 cans tuna
mayo (im bulking)
2 cups milk (again im bulking lol)
3 pieced whole wheat bread

thats 1,330 alories. Dont know if this helps but i think what your looking for would be

1 can tuna
2 pieces whole wheat bread
WATER
100% organic chips

your getting good protein from the TUNA,EGGS,PEANUTBUTTER

& if im looking to pack on lean muscle or just getting more ripped - what are the best foods?
i heard peanut butter in moderation is great in a lean diet as a snack to suppress hunger.

what are the best foods to promote leaness - to make at the start of the week in bulk so i can bring to uni throughout the week, or as pre-made meals for home?
thanks heaps guys i highly appreciate the advice so far :)
