Post workout cardio

v shape

New member
I am currently bulking clean and taking in about 3500 calories. I recently ended my pct and I plan on staying off for a long period of time. I have noticed that my bodyfat is slowly creeping up on me. I want to start doing cardio to get a bit leaner. The only time I am able to do it is post workout. I usually work out for about 1-1.5 hours, then drink an isolate/dexrose shake immediatly after.
I want to start doing 15-20 minutes of light cardio post workout to lean out a bit. I plan on taking about 5 grams of bcaas and 10 grams of glutamine right before cardio and then drinking my shake 10 minutes after.
What are your opinions on this?

I've been eating the same, but 6 months ago I started riding my back to the gym and back. It is about 3 miles from my house. I am leaning out very nicely and not really trying.

I don't suggest you doing cardio after working out, because at that time you should be consuming your PWO shake, and it must last for the next 45 minutes to an hour.

You must separate cardio from lifting by 6 to 8 hours.
If you absolutly have to do both at the same session, do cardio first. The problem with that, however, is that your lifting will suffer, since cardio will deplete your glycogen stores.

Noooooooooooooo.... never do your cardio first for that very reason
