you can listen to someone with a lot of posts or take advice from someone with a B.S in Kinesiology and 19 years of experience training with weights, you make the call.

NO one with a brain would advise someone to eat fruit when they are cutting.

once foods are metabolized the source of them is irrelevant, the body does not know or care. in green bananas the primary sugar is fructose and glucose being the second. when they rippen that changes with glucose being the main sugar and fructose being second.

so what you are saying is that ingesting glucoseafter a cardio session which just depleted muscle and liver glycogen is counter productive ? ha..ha..ha..what a joke !

put down your comic book ddc, take a class get a degree in Human Performance, then come talk to me.

Hi Fitness,

Who said life is simple?/

There was another thread which debated what carbs are the best as a postworkout..
SOme would say that proteine shake and dextrose is a must other would argue that shake and honey would do the job..OF course all this before the real meal...

I guess most of the questions would have two or more different answer and everyone should choose whatever he thinks may work for him..It is tough to find a consensus !

That is because nutrition and diet is not a perfect science ; there is big controversy among diet specialists..Take for example aspartam...You will find pros and cons even between doctors!!

TerraNoble...you are correct it is not a perfect science, but it is a science. One of the main reasons why advice or information given by gen practive MD's and dietians do not apply to atheletes. Especially those seriously involved in weight training. those professionals main focus and education is on healing the sick, not improving the performance of healthy individuals.

When it comes to Sports Nutrition and Human Performance there are a lot of variables, but there are just as many constants.
