*** POST DIET PICS - 9 weeks LOW CARBS

I posted this on 3 boards here last time so sorry if you see this thread on all 3 boards. ANABOLIC, DIET and WOMEN's boards.

After posting pics from 7 weeks in I got several requests to post some pics from the photo shoot at 9 weeks.

I posted just 4 of them. A lot of them have me and a chick in it so I didn't want to post those without her consent. Some others have even less clothes so I didn't want to post those either. Anyway, there are 2 main reasons I am posting.

First, notice the difference from 7 weeks into diet and 9 weeks (day of the shoot). I completely carb and H20 depleted for about 36 hours before the shoot (in fact I didnt eat or drink ANYTHING).
Although I am very lean, notice how flat my muscles got from just the 2 weeks before.

Also, take a look at the last 2 pics in the second album. Believe it or not those pics were taken just 3 days after the photo shoot. Amazing what a little water and carbs can put back into your muscle. I look like I weigh over 200 lbs next to Katie Uter.
Unfortunately in the last pic, I am brought back down to earth when standing next to Jay Cutler.

Second point, the bodyfat thing again. In the photo shoot pics at 9 weeks, I had my bodyfat taken 1 HOUR before the shoot with one of those Tanita bf scales. It tested me at 15.5% Bodyfat. LMFAO!!!!

O.K. now these pics are scanned from the proofs and my scanner sucks so the quality is not that good. Wish they were digital but you'll get the idea.

looking good man.....i must be around 30% bodyfat if that's the case lol....

curious about your diet, were you doing something like crumb's diet?

oh,and how tall are you and what was you before and after bodyweight?

Yes it is something like Crum's diet.

Here is what I did.
Kept carbs under 100 a day for the first 7 weeks. Protein OVER 200. This means I had at least 200. Some days may have been 250, some 300, as long as I was over 200.
Cardio before breakfast for 45 minutes, 4 days a week.

100 ounces of water a day (should have been more).

I did not cut fats at all. In fact I upped them some. Not really purposely, but I didn't worry about the fats at all. Not really a keto diet, just low carbs, high protein.

I ate 6 to 8 times a day

My supplement profile included the following.
ALA 1 gram a day
Triple Flex (for joints)
Vitex
Mega Men multivitamin from GNC
Zinc 50mg a day
ECA (1 minithin, one cup of coffee 30 minutes before workout)
1 amino acid pill a day (1600mg)
Nizoral (1%) shampoo

can you break down your diet more specifically..

also was your cardio low/high intensity and how many days p/w did u lift?

u look great..:D

Thanks guys.

My diet and training was something like this.

Cardio at 6:30 a.m. 25 minutes stairmaster. 20 minutes treadmill at 4 m.p.h. and a 5 degree incline.

7:30 a.m. 4 egg whites and 2 whole eggs scrambled. turkey bacon or ham. coffee or water.

9:00 a.m. Protein shake

11:00 a.m. Can of tuna

11:30 ECA stack. (one minithin, one cup of coffee, sometimes an aspirin)

12:00 - 1:30 WORKOUT (lifting. One bodypart per day. Secondary muscles included on some days. EX: Monday - Back and traps, Tuesday - Legs and calves Wednesday - Chest, Thursday - Bis and shoulders, Friday - Tris and calves. Abs twice a week)

1:30 Post workout protein shake

2:30 Meat (chicken breast or steak or fish)

4:30 Can of tuna or meat.

6:00 Protein shake or protein bar

8:00 Meat with vegetables

If I get hungry before bed or in the middle of the night, Cottage cheese.

Cheat day on Sunday where I carb up.

Some mornings when I am sluggish, I treat myself at the 9:00 a.m. meal with oatmeal and peanutbutter for energy instead of protein shake.

Light cycle to keep from losing too much muscle.
250 mg Cyp every 5 days
50 mg Winny every day

That's it!

Are or were u taking AS while doing the diet?

Yep, you nailed it. Light AS once a year when I do this diet so as not to lose too much muscle.

250 mg Cyp every 5 days
50 mg Winny ED

have u cut out creatine for fear of a bit o water retention or do u keep it in so your not flat while trying to look your leanest?

how bout anyone else? I know its been talked to death but new and updated views always welcome

I am cutting right now and taking creatine. I don't have much water retention if any. I decided to use it cause its been about 4 months since I last used it...

I definitely needed laxatives by the about week 5. I probably needed them before that but just didn't realize it until then. Next time I'll try adding Metamucil to my diet.

I forgot about the creatine. Yes I did use it. BUT, I ran out after week 8 and I think that contributed to some more water loss and it made my muscles look flatter for that week 9 photo shoot. That and the fact that I carb depleted for 2 days.

Thanks BronzedGoddess, back at ya. Nice pics.

Jetisin, they were used to lower water retention and also prevent Gyno. I had the Vitex because I tried taking tren and developed gyno symptoms by week 2 so I threw it away. Then I started taking Vitex to help alleviate the symptoms. It took about 2 months for it to go away. About 2 weeks into this diet/cycle, I received my prescription Nolvadex and actually didn't use any Vitex after that.

Now the Zinc was actually more important to me in this diet/cycle because of two benefits. Prevent water retention and prevent gyno. See the two links for information on that.

Zinc for water retention ---> http://www.musclephotos.com/water.html

Zinc for preventing gyno ---> http://www.musclephotos.com/zinc.html

Also, see these VERY important zinc benefits.
