Possibly a dumb question.

Does HCG keep your balls producing sperm while on? How about clomid or any other meds?

I know without any meds sperm count drops quite drastically while on, and allow infertility is rare, it is something to think about as I would one day like to have kids.

It's not a stupid question at all. Out of the three typically used substances during pct (HCG/Nolvadex/Clomid), HCG is the only one that will help maintain spermatogenesis and testicular function. Regardless, LH and FSH will be impaired. Keep in mind that being on cycle doesn't automatically result in infertility. Honestly, it's nothing to be severely concerned about. If it does in fact become an issue, treatment with HCG in combination with an FSH preparation such as HMG (LH/FSH) or rFSH can restore testicular function and fertility. The second option would be GnRH therapy. See my thread at the top of this forum entitled "Fertility" for more details.
