Possible injection infection?

Hi all

4 days ago i did the first injection (1ml test optionate) of my second cycle.

i am very careful with sterility and this was a new bottle from a pharmacy, new needle, i swabbed and aspirated.

I wasn't too surprised to have some pain and a lump but what's worrying me a bit is that there is some warmth in the area and a slight pinkness to it as well. I know these are signs of infection. I have no fever or other symptoms?

Is there anything else i should look for? When is it time to see a doctor? Should i say it was a b12 shot?

I would wait a few days and see if the lump worsens. Typically the injection site will be painful and hot to the touch. B-12 injection sounds like a nice cover story.

it is slightly warm but not hot. I'm just worried it coudl suddenly escalate and i get gravely ill. if I can safely wait it out to see what happens i'd much prefer that.

I'd wait it out a couple more days. Could be lots of reasons. If I do a Shallow injection like in the shoulder and it doesn't get deep just under the facia I will usually get a reaction.
I remember the first time I gave myself a shot in the hamstring. Couuldn't walk for 3 days with the inflamation and lump but it subsided.
If it doesn't get any bigger your probably ok.

Listen to the man not only does he have a smoking hot avatar but he is correct. Just keep a CLOSE eye on it bro. Do NOT be afraid to get medical help if you need it ok? All in all it's your call but don't panic.

my first sustanon cycle (first cycle) was same symptoms you have. Every other week was great and painless. every "other" week was a lump and it hurt like a mother fucker for a good 5-6 days. Pinkness can just be irritation. But definatley, as these guys said keep an eye on it closely. It will definatley get worse as time goes by if its infected. good luck.

thanks everyone - i woke up today and it does seem a little better.

It was my first shot in a while and i do remember the angle being a little awkward so i think the most likely think is that I didn't go deep enough.

If this is the case, was the dose lost? If so, I might as well do my next shot tomorrow than wait the full week?

No not a waste at all. Just as long as it was in the muscle. I will have moved through the system a little quicker being shallow.

tis happened to me too!

Delt shots no problem, but both glute shots were hell!

Felt like my wallet was sown into my ass... Went away after about 6-7 days..

Not too sure why both glute shots did that.. I too thought mabe they weren't deep enough, but I did use a 1.5" pin..

Who knows, i do carry some weight there..

If you don't have a fever and it's not really pink. Wait it out.

Otherwise go to the doc.

The Cap & myself are both from Canuckistan so other then alittle embarasment there's no worries going to the doc here. They can't pull our insurance even if they wanted to
