I can't believe it was that high. I just can't get into super hero movies....especially when the main character is a woman....no offense ladies.

No you are right. I am really into superhero movies when they are good but it just doesn't work with a woman the main character in a superhero movie. Tomb Raider worked but they were seeling Angela Jolie's sex appel more than anything with those movie. I know Tomb Raider is a video game but superhero and video game moviea are almost the same thing IMO.

Women cant play lead roles in superhero films because they are female
That is a very SEXIST thing to say
How many times has BATMAN FLOPPED
and they were men playing the lead roles

IT doesn't matter which gender u are as long as it is a good script with a good director, that is all u need

I'm not making the rules but I not gonna ignore them either. BTW it's really bad for a Superhero major motion picture release to open at #5. And only one Batman movie could have been considered a flop yet it made $238 Million worldwide and the other Batman movies made more than that.

Looks like a Rental style movie vs Theater so all the dudes/Lesbos can relax and open their pants for greater enjoyment..

They have real movie theraters over in Scandagayvia ??

1st of all when a movie opens at #5 it's over.

Next a flop means a movie made less money than it's production and marketing costs. Every Batman movie turned a profit even if it was a stinker. You seem to big missing the point. Men and children are the target audience of superhero movies. Sooooooo........men generally aren't going to take female superhero that serious and that will inevitably lead to box office doom. Don't get me wrong. Women can be in kickass action role and it work, ie Kill Bill. Superhero is something different thought. Wonder Woman could possible work because the character has a big name and the character has sex appeal.

A movie Opening at No 5 is not a flop, it could gradually climb up,
But u also seem to miss that point - Men and Children are the target audience, and that is why they would want to go see it, because it has a hot chick as the lead, something young girls can relate too, which is something different, I just think, it is too earlier to write off, lets have this conversation in 6 weeks time, when the film would have hit the 100 million mark. beside has it opened in ALL MAJOR MOVIE theaters in America or just certain parts,
Anyway u and i have strong opinions and mind of our own

Have you seen the movie? A few people from work saw it this weekend and said it was absolutely horrible, people even walked out during it. It's not going up, my guess is it's out of the top ten within two weeks. And history shows that when a movie opens at no 5 it generally does not go up, but down. Movies tend to open at their peak in today's market.
 
I liked Elektra, she is hot as hell, and so was Typhoid Mary, I wanted the annoying little girl to die

Ghost Rider is already set for filming, using Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider not the Dan Ketch (more powerful of the two one) Nicholas Cage is Blaze, Im not so much in agreement of that, Johnny isn't 50 and he looks nothing like him
 
I knew it was gonna be bad when i saw the trailer and it bored me.

A Jennifer Garner Lesbian Porno would've generated more revenue.
