It depends on your gear. As you can imagine, poking yourself with a thicker needle is WORSE than poking yourself with a thinner needle. So...use the thinnest needle that your gear can go through at a reasonable rate.

1.5 inch always in the glute, with test e

I will use a 23 g x 1.5, with fina I will use a 25 g, but always 1.5 inch.
