You were pretty smug yesterday.

But now you've got egg on your face.

I still haven't forgiven his sorry ass for calling me a liar when I had to pull out of our race with pulled hamstrings. Now, the truth emerges. I still await an apology.

After I return to the states, if you get your nerve up, we can actually run the race.

Then you will have no more excuses.

Iraq was on lock down during voting. It was safer to vote on those 2 days in Iraq than it is to drive to work in the US.

LOL!!!

Also...

Buh bye maccaca allen.

Did you see....Santorum is gone? Did ya.

Casey isn't a liberal, though. I'd consider him moderate to conservative on some issues. Hell, he's probably a little right of Specter.

ok, i would rather have satan's handpicked minions in control of the house than the democrats.

however, i am kinda glad republicans lost. why do i say that? because they had complete control of the house, senate, and whitehouse, and they still could not get shit done.

they tried to be 'compassionate conservatives' (aka liberal republicans) and that is what cost them.

santorum started out good, but he turned out to be a political hack, so i am glad he lost his seat. same goes for lincoln chafee...that guy was as liberal as any democrat.

hopefully this sends a message the GOP higher ups that they cannot take our vote for granted anymore.

they could have done so much...but they never came through. so, this current bunch doesn't deserve to be running the special olympics let alone the government.

Which is the real reason the Republicans lost, alienating their base through fiscal irresponsibility and the border issue. In fact, Bush was hoping to get his border legislation passed now that the Democrats are in control. I don't agree with amnesty which is why I'm glad the House tabled it.

Yeah, he's a moderate. Yeah!

I like moderates.

Actually the Repubs lost because of Bush, his poor performance, the scandals and indictments and general overall shitty condition the party is in.

Patsfan, a neo-con is a social libertarian who sides with Conservative thought on matters of foreign policy, notably during the Cold War. Thanks for the red, though.

I can't wait to hear the various pundits trying to explain tommorow night how the managed to get it wrong...yet again:

WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 — President Bush on Sunday seized on the conviction of Saddam Hussein as a milestone in Iraq, seeking to rally Republican voters with the issue of national security as some polls suggested that his party might be making gains in the final hours of the campaign.

A Pew Research Center Survey released on Sunday found that the number of likely voters who said they would vote for the Democrats was now 47 percent compared with 43 percent who said they would vote for Republicans. Two weeks ago, Democrats had an edge of 50 to 39. A Washington Post-ABC News poll found a similar tightening.
