Sometimes he's nice but a lot of times he's not. And if he's just trying to be funny I can't see how it doesn't hurt you. :(
 
My husband is a regular insult comic himself. He cracks himself up but often times he gets slapped across the face.

I don't know if he is trying to be mean or funny. Its hard to tell just by reading his posts, I would need to see his real life actions, the body language and hear his tone of voice.

Reading Hammy's posts he seems funny. :rose:
 
Hammy's a good guy. Really he acts a lot like my husband with his smartass comments. That's why I get pissy with him...out of wuv. :heart:

I don't buy Hammy's internet persona. I bet in real life he licks the kitty on command and is always running to the store in the late hours of the night to buy more twinkies. Im pretty sure he also has to let Klu proofread and approve his messages before he is allowed to post anything on EF as well.
 
Comments can sting regardless of what's meant by them. I think he appreciates Klu but at the same time I can see why she could be upset. I don't know their relationship though. I'm a cynical and sarcastic douche monkey on here but am only mildly sociopathic in real life...

i did this because, hes only trying to be funny, but hes still a total asswipe that he has to resort to picking on person to be his material.

he is not a jerk, because i dont believe his intentions are evil

I haven't said anything because I don't know the history and if this is all just drama for EF or what. I have to say that my man can be an asshat sometimes, but he'd never bust on me like that. I hope that whatever the truth of your relationship that Hammy makes up for his asshole comments here. :heart:
 
I think he is just trying to be funny. That does not mean the comments don't have an ill effect on your person. He should realize that and respect it!

Ayup, I voted he's trying to be funny, but he don't realize, even in jest, those comments take their toll on a persons self esteem.
I would never even joke about talking like that with my wife, she means too much to me.
