I am a high school teacher. When I was younger this was probably the last thing I thought I wanted to do, but once I got to college and began to realize there isn't much you can do with a history major, I decided to go into education. yes, btw, I do like my job. I know its sounds cliche but seeing the light go on in the head's of kids really is fullfilling. You will find something you like bro, you may just have to do a lot of things before you discover what that is. Also, half of knowing what you don't like is half was to knowing what you do like. I could have gotten a job as an EMT, but the hours just weren't right for me, for example.

I like my job. Im a consultant to medical firms. Lots of freedom and above average pay. The job did not come via a college degree, it came from getting the job done and working for several medical companies. Sometimes I am in charge and sometimes I am not. I find this refreshing.

My significant other is a head honcho (i.e. exec) of a medical company. She really loves her job, because she is a serious go getter. Not only is it her job, but also her hobby. She craves advancement, raises and recognition.

We met long ago when neither of us made much money.

Like Captain Planet, my brother and his wife are both teachers (and coaches) and they really like/love their jobs.

I love my job. I absolutely LOVE my job. I am teaching 3rd grade right now and I love every second of it. Even when my kids are being AWFUL they are the most amazing little people. I love making them laugh, I love them making me laugh, I love seeing the light go on upstairs when they understand something, I love the hugs I get everyday, I love trying to find new ways to teach concepts, I love grading tests and actually SEEING that they understand things. Yes, there are days I think I am going to meltdown, but all in all my job is amazing. I look forward to Mondays, and Fridays almost feel like a let down...I know there are 2 more days until I see "my kids" again.

I like this job because my Boss shows me respect and ap reciates me , he just doesn't pay that well, but encouraged me to go back to school to" make the type of money I deserve." and helps me as much as he can. He will only cut people if business gets drastically bad, you work hard for somebody like that.
