please help...I'm very scared after doing an injection

I just did a quad fina injection (homemade). As soon as I pulled the needle out, a lot of blood came out (more than ever before). Now there is a sizeable knot on my leg that is very hard. It doesn't hurt that bad, but I can see it. This is scarring the shit out of me, what should I do. I've never had this happen before, but I normally only do glut injections.

I did the exact same thing. Because your still able to write a message I dont think you injected into a vein. My guess is that you could have nicked a one though. Did you aspirate before you began pushing the plunger? I think you should be fine but if you feel anythink beyond the normal, seek professional medical assistance.

You are ok bro, you probably had your first gusher! I hit some Cyp in my quad the other day and it left a knot for about 5 days and was real sore. Its fine now, so just keep an eye on it.

No, I'm not under 18, I'm actually 23. I know thats still a little young to be hitting the roids, but I've been working out pretty hard since about 16, and lately haven't seemed to be getting anywhere. I've done two previous cycles, both of which were injections. I've NEVER aspirated before, and didn't do it this time. Never had problems with injections before either, but like I said, I normally do them in the glutes, never anywhere else. I did the injection about 2 hours ago, and the swelling or hardness hasn't gone down yet. It doesn't really hurt any worse than normal injections though. It bled a lot more than normal after pulling the needle out, it was dripping down my leg. I hopped in the shower to rinse it off, and the bleeding stopped. Don't really know what I should do from here. All I know is that was probably the last injection I'll ever do. It was enough to scare me. Just hope I don't have to go to the doctor for this b/c that woujld be embarrising as hell. Also, b/c of my profession, I can't let anyone find out about this.

How many of you have had this happened, and had no problems with it, and how many of you think this is more serious than some have said already. If anything like this has happened to you, please respond!

It just happenend to me last week. I had blood dripping down my leg! I was limping for about 3-4 days and was real sore with a knot. Its been a week yesterday and the swelling and soreness is completely gone.

I have never done fina, but tt Cyp can get pretty painful.

An Idea, Maybe you should aspirate that way you are not second guessing yourself. Problem solved!

Bro, you are a very lucky man! You need to aspirate before you inject! You obviously pierced through a vein. Had you injected directly into your vein you probably would not be here now. I can't stress enough how important aspirating is. As for the lump, that is most likely blood that has clotted around the vein. It should dissappear on its own as the body dissolves it. If the knot feels warm to the touch or is red it could be an abscess. In that case you need to get to a doctor asap to drain it. Try rubbing a warm cloth over the area. That may help to break up the knott.

You probably hit a surface vein... nothing major... just leaves a big blue lump because you pierced thru it... if your body fat is low enough you can see the viens in your legs.... try to avoid them next time.......

BigGuns2, I don't think anyone would die from injecting into a vein unless they were injecting massive amounts or if there was a lot of air going into the vein..... however, injecting into a vein can cause you to become dizzy or faint.

Hey you most likely hit a vein... Basically as long as there is no air in the yringe and you are using needles made for intramuscular 20-24 gauge you shouldn't have a problem. the only thing you have to worry about is the sterility of the needle and the injection site. So you had better hope you used a lot of rubbing alcohol on the injection spot and the top of the bottle.

Don't worry dude. A friend of mine injected his buddy in the quad a couple weeks ago right after an extensive leg workout. When he pulled the spike out, blood shot five feet and hit the fridge and proceeded to run down his leg for quite a while. He's okay...no amputations or anything. Sometimes you push through a vein or hit a spot that is more gorged with blood. It doesn't need to be your last injection because of one bad experience.
