Please Help - First Cycle

I usually have a buddy do my injections but did one to myself about 36 hours ago. I noticed yesterday that the area is red around the injection site. The soreness is no worse than usual. I'm thinking I didn't get it in deep enough. (used 1 inch) I tried a pinch method of injecting where I pinched about 1 inch of flesh and shot it in through that. The last time I had a shot at the doctor they did it this way and I barely felt it. How long should I wait on the redness to go away before I see a doctor? Anyone else had this problem when they didn't get it in deep enough?

If it's for the glutes, Always use 1.5 inch though some people use 1 inch until they have problems and wonder why. The worst that could happen is that you can get an oil deposit from the injection not being deep enough. Also it is possible that because you did it your elf, that the needle wasn't kept straight or you were shaking trying to keep it straight that could have caused the irritation. Even simpler the solution is not deep enough thus is causing the irritation as well...Just watch it for a few days and keep rubbing it so that the oil don't stay in one spot for a prolonged period of time.

Just push it through the skin, bunching it up like that will lead to problems. Try to relax the muscle as much as possible.
