Hi guys,

I am on my 6th week of low dose cycle, 250mg/week and i am thinking of stopping my cycle and jump into PCT.

at week 3, i had a bad dandruff but i managed it with nizoral shampoo.
However itchy scalp still remains.
at week 4, i started taking finasteride.
i have notice increased shedding of hair since week 5th.

Currently, my itchy scalp condition is better but i will still have irregular itch here and there.
My head is still quite full of hair but i dare not risk my hair any further.
I googled that Finasteride should stop DHT conversion, however my itchy scalp still remains and hair loss is increased.

Please advise me whether i should continue with this cycle.

Nothing. Just general information with the rest of your stats to help us help you because your new and we dont know you.

The itchy dandruff-y scalp thing is odd. I dont believe I have ever heard of that. I personally shave my head and alot of the time I have to put lotion on my head (fuck you Columbo) because my scalp will get dry as hell and you can see it. However on any test over 150mg my skin is oily and its not required. I would assume the same thing would happen to you (oily skin) as this is a common test side effect. You may be having a much higher rate of DHT conversion than most get. Obviously your more suceptable to sides from any amount of DHT conversion.

Finasteride can take months to start working when used to combat BPH but I'm not sure about how soon it really starts effectivley blocking DHT conversion in general. That really sucks that 250mg wk is doing this to you.

Props to you on choosing 250mg wk for your first cycle though

Regardless of when you do PCT, what do you have planned for it?

Here is my pct. basically I just followed the sticky.
10-16 forma-stanzol 5 pumps am and 5 pumps am for the first 4 weeks then taper down to 3 pumps am and pm for the last 2 weeks
10-14 Unleashed/postcycle combo. 1 cap 3 times a day of each. Or at the very least forged post cycle 2 caps am and 2 caps pmh

Hmm however my dandruff only lasted for 3days.
Itchy scalp is not so bad.
But hair loss is increased!!!
I suspect it might be due to finasteride initial shedding.
I really wish to make the most out of the cycle :/
There are still 4shots left, i wonder if my hair can still make it for any shot or maybe tapering down the dosage.

I also notice that my scalp itch more after pinning even with finasteride.
