plastic surgery

i'm a nurse who from time to time works in the plastic surgery suite at my hospital. ive seen calf implants, ass implants, gortex rolls inserted into lips making the girl look like she wearing those big wax lips. ive seen pec implants, breast implants, you name it. what i want to know is would you consider having plastic surgery if you could not correct the problem thru diet and training? and if so what type of procedure would you most likely have done?

I had an abdominoplasty (an entire foot of loose skin removed from my abdomen - NO LIPO though, didn't need it) and a mastopexy and implants.

Other than perhaps a nip or tuck for the face in the future I don't see the need for anything else.

Breast Implants, and laser resurfacing starting at an early age (early 30's) just to ward off any problems, and if the time came a full face lift, but I much more concerned with preventing the wrinkles all together. I'm 22 and I use wrinkle cream. Calf implants if the would look real. Lipo would be great but I can't do it, I see it as the lazy way out. Oh and rib removal for sure. Damn short torso!

I got breast implants 5 weeks ago. Put a lot of work into building a bikini body, and finally had the body but breasts had vanished. I didn't do all this work to hide in clothes on the beach!

I'll have some anti-aging surgery (facelift/laser resurfacing) some day, but nothing drastic. I want to look "good for my age", not freaky like I'm trying desperately to hold onto 20 as the years inevitably pass by.

Mostly I concentrate on preventative maintenance - staying out of the sun, RetinA, mild peels, Botox, good nutrition and working out. All the surgery in the world can't make up for deliberate neglect.

I think that if its something that can't be corrected naturally then its OK... like boobs, nose, facelift... if mother nature cheated you, then at least you can fight back and fix things;) .. what i do think is wrong, is really overweight women who go get lip, tummy tucks, etc... never worked out a day in their life, and then in less than a year they are fatter than they were to begin with:rolleyes:... i think in that case its just a waste of money and time..

Ive had breast implants, i also really wanted my lips done before, but didnt go through with it, and its not permanent and $$...

I think i will have ANYTHING i feel like , i dont see anything wrong with plastic surgery at all IF u choose to do it for yourself and it will make u feel better....

I got my breasts done 3 days after I turned 18......

I would like to get them done again, and also would like to have some sort of laser surgery or something to remove all the stretchmarks from my stomach from having 2 kids and getting up to 210lbs...... SCARRED for LIFE! Is there anything that can completely remove stretchmarks?
