pins at wal mart?

I used to play dumb and say my mother was coming into town and she injects these vitamins or something and she called from the airport and she forgot them and asked me to pick her up some. Then I'd pull out a crumpled piece of paper and pretend I had no idea what it meant and say, she said, 23 gauge, 1.5 inch, 3cc, whatever that means. Do you have those??

Now I just go in and ask for them. I think as you get older all this gets easier, no one hassles you as much.

I know that Farm and Fleet carries pins around here and they don't ask any questions. Just wear some blue jeans and a flannel and you are in.

Insulin pins are completely different from IM pins. They are much smaller much smaller. Some only hold a 1/2 mL. The pin itself is like .5 in and usually 28-29 gauge. It wouldn't even reach the muscle for the inject.

Yes, I am aware of that. 1/2" 25 guage for site injections is what I was seeking... and assuming the original poster as well, since Wal-Mart does not carry IM hypo needles.
The original poster never implied he was seeking a pin to inject oil or anyting requiring a low guage. Hence my reply.

as long as you are in a state where there is no script required (ie. CA & IL), you should be fine. I would suggest saving some time and getting the phone book, call pharmacies until you find one that has what you need.

When you call them and ask if they have 23g 1" (or 1.5") 3cc syringes, and they say yes, they should expect you to come in and pick them up and will be less likely to ask any questions.

If they do ask you what they're for (which they shouldn't because its none of their business and they're just being nosey (or trying to make conversation)), say B-12 injections. You can even say theyre for your sister or mom or whatever. I dont think youll have a problem. I have done this before while traveling and never had a problem.

Why not just order them, you'll get them in a few days. I didn't bother to read the rest of the posts but if you're doing a cycle it's always good to get your supplies prior to your start date.
