Pinched nerves

I have pinched nerves in my neck. My neck aches and my left arm is numb all time time. My left hand fingers tingle. When I lie down my right arm goes numb and my right hand fingers tingle. I go back to the specialist in about a week. Any of you guys ever experienced anything similar? What did you do, treatment and how long did it take for you to recover? I am 46, good shape physically except for the neck issues.

I had a pinched ulnar nerve which at one point made my left side of my left hand go numb. It cleared up mostly on its own, but we were looking at surgery at one point. What kind of treatments have they been talking to you about?

i know that theres injections that numb the nerves but there supposted to be extremly painfull also for pain you might be given vicoden mmm sweet sweet vicoden...anyways theres always the possability of surgury thats more of a last resort type thing though.

I agree. You should see a physician about this. If you have this, you can be referred to a surgeon for definitive treatment.

Not necessarily. There are plenty of other things that can cause upper extremity paresthesia. Not enough information on here to make really even a speculation. Is the numbness the entire arm or just a section or a couple digits in the hand? Is there burning pain anywhere in the area or weakness assosiated with this?

get xrays then seek some form of treatment, chiropractic pt etc. if symptoms persist then get an MRI...seek the opinion of a trained professional!
