look thicker

but looks like your waist is chunking up :)

Yeah, waist is getting up there.. I stopped eating 5000 calories a day like I was for a while, but now I'm hungry all the time :chomp:

I don't think I would have made half the gains I've made without this board... esp all those damn "buffet" threads. LOL. Thanks all!

Red: my wife likes it. She's always making me flex my quads for everyone.

You obviously gained a lot of mass, with very little bodyfat increase! How did your lifts improve.. and what are they now??

I have the same waist issues ... stick in a day or two of cardio early morning and it'll keep it from getting worse as you keep putting the size on.

Thanks, rev. My strength has gone up some:

feb bench 225x4
jul bench 245x6

feb deadlift 275x1
jul deadlift 335x1

feb squat 225x3
jul squat Unknown (haven't tested it lately - working on form)

My deadlift and squat form is terrible... when I get them figured out, I expect my numbers to go up :)

pullups at 175 bodyweight=10
pullups at 207 bodyweight=10

Were you ever at this weight before, or this is the first time?

Love that game face! :) Awesome improvement, especially your shoulders, traps, and pecs. Overall much thicker. Hopefully I'll be able to post similar improvements in 3 or 4 more months (if I ever get over this sickness).

improvements everywhere. definately "bulked" yes quads stand out too keep it up

what's IS up with the facial expressions?? :D

You look like a mendes brother, dude!!!

Nice gains, are you a newbie or lifting after a long time off?

Ok, ok, I'll be sure to smile real nice next time :D

As far as being a newbie - I've lifted on and off casually since I was 16 or so. I'm 34 now. I would work out for a few months, hit a plateau, and give up for a few months. Throughout that time I usually weighed about 185 (with a higher % bodyfat than now).

My workout back then consisted of mostly benches, with occasional squats or chins thrown in.

This is the biggest and strongest I've ever been, especially my legs and back.

Those improvements are impressive bro. Very noticeable difference in the before and afters. Great work!

The difference in your pecs and, especially, delts is VERY nice indeed! You look like a totally different lifter there.

I also think those wheels'll be squatting more than 225 when you get around to testing them :)

Keep gaining man. Even if at some point you gotta "chub" a little bit, it'd be better to keep those PRs coming and diet for a short while later.

Dang dude, that is a lot more mass. Big diffrence and congrats!

Also, I'm with guldukat don't worry about the chub man, a little helps ya grow, just keep hitting the ab work and you will see them through it...
