What a cuh-yoot puppy...

My sister got one of those miniature dachshunds (or however the heck you spell it). The dog was SO SMALL that no one even thought to open her bag when she took him through customs! She was laughing about how she got the dog out of the US and into MagyarOrszag. Had she done it *officially* would have been a MAJOR hairball. LOL

but i can dress him up in shirts and sweaters. he loves that.
I have this super geigh sweater to put on him when it gets a little colder. it's brown with leopard fur collar.

maybe i'll try the bow thing later though.

mine is a maltese and he's big for his breed. he's like 7 or 8 lbs.

i enjoy dressing him like a fag. he doesn't care at all as long as i hold him, and very few boy dog clothes match my outfits. isaac mizrahi makes some great dog clothes though, so i might go buy him a pale green cable knit sweater for those cold winter nights.

and yes, angel... i think i will work harder at getting a bow in his hair. you're right!

i never had a little dog before, but he's so sweet and fun.
i was trying to teach him to sit before, but it wasn't going well so i just kissed him.

thank you. he's great- he runs with my other (much larger) dog and thinks he's big.
until i pick him up and he grunts and licks me.
 
I always have to laugh when I see people who have painted their dog's nails bright red. Poor doogies.

I'm laughing at the toy your dog carries around,it's almost as big as HIM. Soooo cute.

Pets are like family. Actually, I like some pets more than some family members!
 
Sweet. I like those. I think I'm a dobie owner for life, but if I ever go the apartment or condo route, I'd think about one of those.

What is the your pups personality like? I usually hate small dogs but that one looks like it could be cool. Is it all scared like? Most little dogs either are real sissy like or else bark all the time.

neither, really.
he barks when he thinks someone is outside, but not when it's one of us or just at every stray noise, so that's cool- that's what a dog is supposed to do.
he runs top speed with my bull terrier, playing, but doesn't run off. He's afraid of the horse (i would be too if i weighed 7 pounds) and he will leap off the bed or leap up onto the couch if i let him, but he's also a little careful at times, which is good.

he's not the best at being housebroken... he keeps ... um... peeing on the cats bed. lol
